Essential Qualification : Second Class Post Graduate Degree from recognized University.
Experience : Minimum of 15 years experience, out of which 5 years experience, should be in the scale of (Pre-revised 10,000-15,200) revised 15,600-39,100+6600GP in a Central/State Government or equivalent post in
Autonomous body/Public Sector Undertaking/University/recognized scientific institution/Private Sector. Thorough knowledge of handling of Financial and Budgetary matter, Establishment, Legal, Civil works, Accounts, Purchase, Stores, Security and Vigilance procedure/rues with working knowledge of Computer. Experience in organizing meetings and preparing agenda note and minutes thereof. Officers possessing above qualification and experience may apply through proper channel alongwith copies of C.R. Dossiers of the last 5 years duly attested by a Gazetted Officer along with vigilance/disciplinary clearance.
Desirable Qualifications : M.B.A. or equivalent from recognized University/ C.S./ C.A./ICWA
POST No. 2 : Technical Officer-B

Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Essential Qualification : 1st Class Diploma in Engg./Tech of 3 years full time duration or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute/College.
OR
B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Institute/ College/ University in Electrical Engineering.
Experience : For B.E./B.Tech. Minimum 3 years experience in the scale of Rs. 6500-10500 (Pre-revised) or equivalent in research institute or industry. For Diploma holders 10 years experience with 6 years in the scale of Rs. 6500-10500 (Pre-revised) or equivalent in research institute or industry.
Preference will be given to the candidates working in Pulp & Paper Industry in area of Power Generation, distribution and process.
Age limit : 35 years.
Post No.3 : Library Officer-A
Number of Post : 1 (One)
Scale of Pay : 9300 -34800 + GP 4200
Essential Qualification : 1st Class Bachelor of Library Science or equivalent
Experience : 7 years experience in Technical Library of R&D/ Professional Institution.
Age limit : 32 years
Post No.4: Senior Scientific Assistant
Number of Post : 1 (One)
Scale of Pay : 9300 -34800 + GP 4200
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. or B.E. or recognized equivalent qualifications with minimum 60% marks
Age limit : 28 years
Post No.5 : Technician, Group –II (Grade-I)
Number of Post : 1 (One)
Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200-20,200+Grade Pay 1900
Essential Qualification : SSC/10th Standard with 50%marks in the aggregate and ITI Certificate in Electrical trade of 2 Yrs. duration.
Age limit : 23 years
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. The post carries usual allowances i.e. D.A., H.R.A., Transport allowance as per Central Government rules and benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Group Saving Linked Insurance, Medical as per Institute rules.
2. The crucial date for determining the upper age limits, qualifications, and/or experience shall be the closing date of receipt of applications.
3. The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed shall be counted with effect from the date of acquiring the prescribed minimum educational qualifications for the post.
4. Age limit is relaxable as per Govt. rules issued from time to time for SC/ST/OBC/PH and other categories. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disabilities shall alone be eligible for benefit for the relaxation.
5. Photocopy of the Caste/Tribe and Physical Handicapped Certificate issued by competent authority is required to be attached.
6. Relaxation in age limit, qualification and/or experience in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates (both departmental and outsiders) would be allowed with the prior approval of the Council of association, CPPRI.
7. Application may be made on plain paper giving full details along with all attested photo copies of certificate in support of their claim.
8. In case of persons employed in Govt./ State Govt./Autonomous organizations the application should be routed through proper channel along with vigilance clearance report and photocopies of complete ACR Dossier. However, the candidates can submit an advance copy.
9. Application duly completed in all respect should be submitted to Director, Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute, Post Box No. 174, Saharanpur-247001 (U.P.) within 30 days of publication of the advertisement together with Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- non-refundable with the validity of six months drawn in favour of Central Pulp And Paper Research Institute, payable at Saharanpur. (No demand draft is required from SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, women and from departmental candidates, if any).
10. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
11. The decision of the Institute in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, and conduct of interview will be final and binding on the candidates.
12. Candidates must indicate as to whether any of their blood/close relative is working in CPPRI.
13. Application received after the due date or incomplete in any manner shall not be considered.
14. Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid to and fro 2nd class Rail fare.
