Vijaya bank written test consists of four papers in Objective test (260 marks in 95 minutes)
Test of Reasoning Ability (50 questions carrying 80 marks)
Numerical Aptitude (50 questions carrying 80 marks)
Test of Clerical Aptitude (50 questions carrying 50 marks)
Test of English Language (50 questions carrying 50 marks)
Descriptive test consists of 5 compulsory questions carrying 100 marks of 1 Hour)

About Vijaya Bank
Vijaya Bank is another public sector bank which is a medium sized bank both in infrastructure and functionality. The bank has been operating all across India and working quite efficiently. This bank was established on October 23rd 1931 by the founder of the bank Late A.B. Shetty. The bank was a venture started by the enterprising farmers of the city of Mangalore in Karnataka in India. The foresight of the bank was then a limited one as it was only the laying stone of the bank to provide banking practices and financial entrepreneurship to the farmers and their community in the Dakshina Kannada districts or the southern Karnataka region of the state.
This bank attained to become a scheduled bank in the year 1958 and has steadily been coming up the ladder then and has now become an all India level bank. Vijaya Bank has seen itself the merger of 9 smaller banks between the years 1963-68 and so has been benefited from the merger and grew more strong and healthy. Mr. M. Sunder Ram Shetty have been the person behind the unmatchable success and development of the Vijaya Bank.
The bank got nationalized on 15 April 1980. The bank operates on Finacle centralized banking platform developed by the Infosys. The bank has laid its high interest in the field of improving the technology of modernize banking. The bank operates through Finacle which is a well upgraded system. The bank though boasts a well centralized network having 1101 branches with 43 extensions counters for customers and 364 all time available ATM’s which are ever increasing. Further bank outlets include 12 service branches that are maintained on the CBS environment and a total inclusive of 703 centers.
This bank has been very adaptable to the changing needs as it has evolved and diversified to a great extent introducing several domains in its working like credit card, merchant banking, purchasing, leasing and hiring and most importantly VISA and MasterCard International principal membership.
