Admission is open for one month online programmes in
1. Appreciation Programme on Sustainability Science (APSS)
2. Appreciation Programme on Sustainable Management of Wetlands (APSMW)

The programme is offered at Chair for Sustainable Development, IGNOU, which was established in 2007 as a University level Chair, cutting across disciplines and schools. The eminent Agricultural Scientist and father of green revolution in India, Prof. M.S. Swaminathan is the Honorary Chair. The main objective of the Chair is to develop and promote Education for Sustainable Development in India and capacity building in Sustainability Science.

Programme Objective: To build the capacity of policy makers, administrators, scientists and educators as well as the general public in the science and art of environmentally, economically and socially sustainable development.

Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline or its equivalent.

Duration: minimum one month and maximum six months. Medium of Instruction: English

Programme Fee: 500 Rs.
