CBSE AIPMTAIPTM (All India Pre-Medical Test) is among the hardest exams of India which provides applicants for taking admissions in different alleged medical colleges for India. AIPMT is very important to all students in India applying for medical or dental courses. Many medical colleges from around the country offer MBBS or dental programs for the students. The exam is organized at different centers to provide console for the students. AIPMT is extremely competitive exam because lots of candidates all over India apply for the limited seats available. AIPMT is organized in two steps: 1st is Preliminary test and 2nd is Mains. Lot of homework is essential to clear even the preliminary exam. Candidates who successfully clear the preliminary exams are selected for mains exam and on that basis the final selection is done.
Application form Availability
Application forms are usually available from October end at the selected Canara Bank branches as well as all the regional offices from the CBSE. Candidates can also apply online via AIPMT website where they can fill all the details in the online form and take the print out and send to the AIPMT office. Candidates can also make the payment online via either credit card or through sending the demand draft with printed form.
Eligibility criteria
Candidate must be between 17 to 25 years age. There is 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates. A candidate must have cleared 12th exam having subjects PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) plus English. Also the candidate needs to have minimum 50% in PCB to general candidates as well as 40% to SC/ST/OBC candidates. A candidate can appear in AIPMT for 3 times maximum.
