Applicants will be working on the following areas:-
Brain image processing using MRI/MRS/fMRI data.
Desirable quality
Previous experience in image processing
Expertise in Matlab coding /C/C++ programming
Should be comfortable to work in a multidisciplinary environment
Emoluments: 25,000/- p.m consolidated
General Insturctions
Eligible candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview at NBRC at 11 A.M. on 21 January, 2011 along with their CV and all the required certificates in original and with a set of self attested copies of such certificates/documents in support of their qualification and experience. The scrutiny of credentials will be done between 10.30 am and 11 am only, and the interview will start at 11 am. There is only one post.
No TA / DA will be provided for the candidates attending the interview
Duration : The tenure will be for a period of 1 year and extendable on review and on mutual agreement. The post is co-terminus with the project. Selected candidate should abide by the rules and regulations of NBRC.
Hostel facility : Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC and as per availability in the Hostel at NBRC Campus,Manesar.
About National Brain Research Centre
National Brain Research Centre is a major neuroscience research group, situated in Manesar township of Haryana, India. It is an Autonomous Government Institute accredited with a deemed university status and is a nodal center under Department of Biotechnology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. NBRC was dedicated to the country on the 14th November, 1997 and it was formally inaugurated at its current campus in Manesar in December 2003 by then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The center is dedicated to provide infrastructural facilities and a coordinated multidisciplinary team to work at the frontiers of neuroscience research and network the existing groups and whenever required, create satellite units to catalyze the overall growth of this discipline in the country. Founder director Dr. Vijayalakshmi Ravindranath has been awarded Padmashri in the year 2010 by government of India.
