Punjab Technical University Common Entrance Test (PTU CET)

Punjab technical university (PTU) is authorize by the government of India. It conduct common entrance CET for admission in engineering, Pharmacy, and Technical college. The university provides excellent education to the students. Punjab technical University common entrance test is held in MAY and JUNE.

Course offered by PTU: 

The Punjab University Common Entrance Test offer courses are MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPharm, B.Sc. (Hospitality and hotel Administration), B. Arch, BA LL.B (Hons, B. Sc (Hons School) and B. Sc (Tourism management).

Eligibility criteria for PTU CET:

For engineering student 

The student passed 10th or 12th examination in science stream with physics and mathematics compulsory subject and any one subject from chemistry, biology, biotechnology, computer science.

For Pharmacy course:

The candidate passed 12th examination from any recognized board or university with physics and chemistry as compulsory subject along with any one subject from biology, Biotechnology, mathematics and computer science.

Admission from another university will be given by their respective eligibility criteria. Diploma students who are appearing for examination are also eligible; the admission of such candidates to the Entrance Test will be purely provisional and will be cancelled, if he fails in exam.

Selection Procedure:

The selection of student is done on the basis of score in the entrance test.

Examination Pattern:

The duration of examination is 2 hours. The entrance syllabus contains 3 parts. Part I- Physics, Part II- Mathematics, Part III- Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, computer science. Each part contains 60 questions and each carries one marks. B.Arch course student required to appear for aptitude test this test contain 30 multiple choice question and duration is 30 minutes.
