Aligarh Muslim University B.Tech/ B.Arch Entrance examination

One of most well-known Universities of India is the Aligarh Muslim University and it offers more than 250 courses for Indian as well as foreign students. It was given credit of the full-fledged university after so many years after its commencement in year 1920. Aligarh Muslim University organizes the all India entrance test every year to give admissions to students of B.Tech /B.Arch courses. 

Eligibility for Aligarh Muslim University engineering entrance test

Students want to join the B.Tech or B.Arch courses must pass higher secondary exam with minimum 50% in total. Candidates having diploma in engineering can also apply to these courses.

Candidates want to take admissions in B.Tech course need to sit for paper I which deals in objective type questions for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Paper I and II are both essential for candidates wanting admission in B.Arch Course. Paper II is particularly designed for checking aptitude of candidates for architecture. 

Aligarh Muslim University engineering entrance test procedure

Applicants need to send demand draft with request letter to Assistant Controller (Admissions), Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, 202002. The demand draft of Rs.100 to be paid at the State Bank of India must be drawn favoring "the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh. Candidates must also send one envelope (self-addressed) with the postage of Rs.90 to above stated office address. 

The appropriately filled application form with draft must be sent to Admission Section, at the ‘Office of the Controller of Examination and admissions’, AMU, Aligarh. The drafts need to be arranged for B.Tech as well as B.Arch courses are Rs.250 as well as Rs.400 respectively. The course name should be correctly written on request letter.
