ICFAI MCA Entrance Exam

IMCAT (ISIT MCA Test) is the entrance test organized by the ICFAI School of Information Technology to give admissions for its MCA course. ISIT is having its campuses at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Bangaluru, and one more will be added soon in Pune.  The students must work hard to find admissions in this school. Every year, fixed seats for the MCA program are available. 

ICFAI School of Information Technology is the part of the ICFAI University, established by the ICFAI (Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India) in the year 2003 and then it got the official recognition as university by the UGC. All the ISIT institutes have great infrastructure, facilities, with highly skilled faculties. It offers all the facilities like well equipped class rooms, computer labs and library. 

Popularity of exam

IMCAT is organized at approximately 50 centers across India. Lots of candidates, who want to do MCA, appear in the IMCAT. Apart from the IMCAT to give admissions in the ISIT, candidate’s past educational record as well as work experience (if have any) are also take into account. 

Application form Availability 

IMCAT examination form will be available in the start of March. Students must submit the application form inside the given last date. The forms may also be collected from different centers authorized.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the IMCAT the candidate need to have bachelor’s degree having minimum 50% marks. Those applicants in the final year graduation may also apply.

How to apply 

Candidates may apply online for the IMCAT through its website and make payment by credit card. Candidates may also download application form via same website and mail it with the demand draft.

Examination Pattern

IMCAT is usually of 3 hours and will have multiple choice questions including these sections:

• Analytical ability

• Business - computer terminology

• Functional grammar

• Mathematical ability

• Reading comprehension

• Vocabulary
