Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (popularly SIMS) is a Business School situated in Range hills, Khadki in Pune city, Maharashtra, India. The institute was established by the Symbiosis International University in 1993. It offers management education primarily for the dependents of defence personnel of the Indian defence services.
SIMS is an ISO 9001:2008 quality certified Institute. It was ranked 23rd nationwide by "Business world" in their 'B-schools' issue of 24 December 2007[1] and 18th in 2008 and 13th by Outlook in Sep 2009[2] It is an accredited "Centre for Corporate Governance" of the 'National Foundation of Corporate Governance'.
