Application forms can be obtained
· From the designated branches of Post-Office on cash payment of Rs 750/-. Details available in the VIT www.vit.ac.in
· by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore, to the Admission Officer with a request letter containing the full address of the application
· by handing over a DD for Rs. 750/- in person at VIT University, Vellore (or) at VIT, Chennai Campus (or) at Chennai City Office

About VIT University
The VIT University, commonly referred to as Vellore Institute of Technology or VIT located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. The university offers VIT 15 Undergraduate and 31 Postgraduate coursework programmes in addition to full-time/part-time research degrees in the form of Ph.D., M.S., VIT(by research) degrees under the Engineering and Management disciplines, and Ph.D., M.Phil. in Sciences and Languages.
The university follows an entrance exam based system VIT of admission. An yearly entrance exam, Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE), is conducted around the month of April. The admissions from this exam are decided based on merit. Similarly, another entrance exam, Vellore Institute of Technology Masters' Entrance Exam (VITMEE), is conducted for admissions to the Masters' programs. For entrance into Business Management programmes, the results of the Nation-wide Common Admission Test (CAT) and other equivalent tests are considered.
