Full time BE / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering (4 years duration) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in any of the engineering disciplines mentioned in Table -1in Required Disciplines

Those whose final results are awaited and / or are appearing for the final year / semester examination during April – May 2011, but are otherwise eligible, may also apply. If selected, the mark-sheet of final result should be submitted on or before 30th November 2011

NOTE : This recruitment is only for Full time BE / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering (4 years duration) - . Candidates having ME/M.Tech/Ph.D qualification are not eligible and need not apply

Selection Process: 
a. The eligible candidates will be shortlisted through Online Test. The Online Test will be conducted from 19th April, 2011 to 23rd April, 2011 for all the disciplines stated at “Required Disciplines” menu and a candidate is required to appear on any day between 19th April, 2011 and 23rd April, 2011 in the following Cities across India. Candidate is required to choose any day between 19th April, 2011 and 23rd April, 2011 as per his convenience for appearing in the test.

b. Candidates shortlisted through Online Test will be interviewed at NPCIL, HQ, Mumbai. Tentatively interviews will be held in June, 2011. Names of short-listed candidates thorough Online Test will be declared in our website. Call letters / e-mail intimation for interview will also be sent to such short-listed candidates.

c. Final selection is solely on the basis of performance in Personal Interview subject to medical fitness.

How To Apply:

Eligible candidates may apply through online registration system of NPCIL. No manual / paper application will be entertained.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING ONLINE :

The entire online registration should be completed within 20 minutes (Session time is 20 minutes only). Hence please keep all your details ready before you start filling up your application online.

The eligible candidates will be short listed through Online Test. The Online Test will be conducted from 19th April, 2011 to 23rd April, 2011 for all the disciplines stated at “Required Disciplines” menu and a candidate is required to appear on any day between 19th April, 2011 and 23rd April, 2011 in the following Cities across India. Candidate is required to choose any day between 19th April, 2011 and 23rd April, 2011 as per his convenience for appearing the test while applying for online test. Hence, candidates are advised to decide accordingly before applying for the test.

Online registration requires your personal details like name, category, gender, date of birth, qualifying degree, engineering discipline, email address, phone numbers, address for correspondence, photograph in soft form(jpg, jpeg, gif) etc. and test centre. 

Please enter a valid, active e-mail address as all important communication will be sent to this email address. SMS will also be sent to you if you give an active mobile number for communication. 

Please read the eligibility criteria and ensure that you meet all the criteria before applying. 

After you fill in all the details, all the data filled in will be displayed on a page, Please verify at this stage if all the data that you have filled in are correct. Use the ‘Edit’ button to make any changes at this stage. Enter DD details(if applicable) before you submit. You will not be allowed to make any changes, after you submit. 

If you are a candidate not exempted from paying application fee, please keep your Demand Draft for Rs.250, drawn in favour of Manager (F & A), NPCIL , payable at Mumbai, handy as you will be required to enter the Demand Draft number, bank name and date in the online application form. After submitting the application, you must take a printout of the Demand Draft Deposit Slip and send the DD along with this slip, duly signed to Senior Manager (HRM - T), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, 6th floor, Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan, Anushakti Nagar, Mumbai - 400 094. Maharashtra. You must write your name & registration number on the back of the Demand Draft.  You will be able to check the status of receipt of your DD by logging in through the Candidate's Login menu. 

You will be allotted a unique registration number, after your payment has successfully been recorded. Please make a note of the registration number, as you will need this to log in to the website to check your application status including for receipt of your Demand Draft later on. An email also will be sent to you with the registration number. 

Exact percentage of the marks should be mentioned in the qualification percentage of marks column e.g. 59.99% should NOT be rounded off to 60%

After the registration number has been allotted, candidates must upload the scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph (taken not earlier than six months) in the JPG format, of size not more than 50 KB and a minimum of 125 x 165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions. The photo uploaded will be printed on the admit card and only the person whose photo is printed on the admit card will be allowed to take up the Online Test. 

Candidates will be informed through email and SMS about the availability of the admit card online on the website. The time for the test will be available in the admit card. They can login through the ‘Candidate Login’ and print the same. The candidate must carry a clearly printed admit card to the exam centre, without which he will not be allowed to take up the Online Test. 

After registration, candidates can login through the ‘Candidate Login’ menu on this page to print out the filled in application form. One copy of the printout of the online application form with signature and latest photograph pasted thereof, along with one attested copy of each of the certificates in support of educational qualification (both degree certificate and mark sheets), experience, caste etc and the originals of the same should be brought at the time of personal interview. Neither print of the data filled form nor copy of any certificate should be sent before interview.

Only Indian Nationals can apply.

Before applying, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria.

All qualifications should be from an Indian University / Institute recognized by AICTE / appropriate statutory authority.

Candidates appearing in the final year / semester examination should bring their identity card of the Institute / College / University at the time of appearing for Online Test and attending interview.

Applicants working in Central / State Government / PSUs / Aided Institutions should bring “No Objection Certificate” from the organisation without which they will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
Reservations and relaxations for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PWD (degree of disability 40% or above) candidates will be applicable as per Government of India orders.

The OBC candidates who belong to "Creamy layer" are not entitled for concession admissible to OBC category and such candidates have to indicate their category as General. The OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates are required to submit requisite certificates in prescribed format of Government of India, from a competent authority issued in the current year. Further, OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates will have to give self undertaking indicating that they belong to OBC (Non-creamy layer) category also at the time of interview if called for.
Application Fee : Non-refundable fee of Rs.250/- will be payable by candidates (excluding women and Persons With Disabilities) belonging to General and OBC category. The application fees should be sent through A/c payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of Manager (F & A), NPCIL, payable at Mumbai to the following address so as to reach on or before 8th April 2011 along with the DD Deposit Slip (which can be printed by the candidate while applying online) duly signed.

The candidate should write his/her name and registration number on the back side of the Demand Draft.

Demand Drafts with date later than the last date of application i.e. 31st March, 2011 will not be accepted. 

The envelope containing the Demand Draft along with the DD Deposit Slip should be superscribed "NPCIL - Recruitment - ET - 2011" .

Admit Cards will not be generated if the Demand Draft has not been received by NPCIL on or before 8th April, 2011 in respect of those candidates who are required to pay application fee.

Candidates must upload their phtograph in the JPG format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125 x 165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions. The photo uploaded will be printed on the admit card and only the person whose photo is printed on the admit card will be allowed to take up the Online Test. 

At the time of interview, the candidates have to produce all original certificates for verification of date of birth, caste, disabilities, qualification, experience (if any) etc and certificate / authentic documents in original in support of any claim for relaxation of age, application fees along with attested copies of all such certificates / documents (Formats can be downloaded from Downloads). No candidate will be interviewed if any of the required certificates / documents are not produced.

No Travel expenses will be paid to any candidate for appearing for the Online Test. 

No travelling expenses for coming for interview will be reimbursed, if candidate is not interviewed for not meeting the eligibility criteria or non production of the required documents including travel ticket etc. 

Mere fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria will not entitle a candidate to be called for test/interview/appointment. 

The email id entered in the online application form should remain active for at least one year. No change in the e-mail id will be allowed once entered. All future correspondence would be sent via email. 

No request for change of date and time of Online Test will be entertained. Although candidates have been advised to indicate their choice of date for appearing in the Online Test. NPCIL reserves the right of allocation of date and time of Online Test as it may deem fit about which the candidate will be informed through email and no further request for any change shall be entertained in this regard. 

In case of any ambiguity / dispute arising on account of interpretation in versions other than English, the English version shall prevail. 

NPCIL reserves the right to cancel / restrict / enlarge / modify / alter the recruitment process, if need so arises, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof. 

Legal jurisdiction will be Mumbai in case of any dispute. 

If at any stage of the recruitment process including after recruitment or joining, it is detected that the candidate has provided wrong information or submitted false documents or suppressed relevant information does not meet the eligibility criteria of this advertisement or has resorted to unfair means in the Online Test, or if he appears more than once in the Online Test for this recruitment process for Executive trainee 2011, or found guilty of impersonation or creating disturbance affecting the smooth conduct of the Online Test at the test centres, the said candidate will be liable to be disqualified, prosecuted and debarred for all appointments in NPCIL and his/her candidature will be rejected forthwith. 

Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited is a Public Sector Enterprise Under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. NPCIL generated about 90 billion units of electricity in the X plan (2002-2007) exceeding the set target by about 10%, and added 1180 MWe capacity against the target of 1300 MWe capacity, thus realizing 91% of the target capacity addition. In the year 2009-10 RAPP-5&6 (2x220 MWe capacity) commenced commercial operation. Also, RAPS-2 (200 MWe capacity) was synchronized to grid after successfully carrying out EMFR works.
