NAIP Project on ‘ Protected cultivation of high value vegetables and cut flowers – A value chain approach’

1) Senior Research Fellow (one)

Emoluments (Fixed) P.M. + HRA as admissible : Rs. 16000/-+ HRA

Essential/ Desirable qualification : 

i) Essential : M.Sc. in any area of Agri.. Sciences/ Plant Protection/ Life Sciences. Preference will be given to those with specialization in Entomology

ii) Desirable: Knowledge of computers (MSOffice / Internet etc.)

Duration: Till March, 2012. (Likely to be extended)

Date of Interview: 11th of May, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

Venue: NCIPM, LBS, Building, IARI Campus, Pusa, New Delhi -110012

1. Maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 40 years for women and the age is relaxable

for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per GOI norms.

2. The above positions will be filled up on contractual basis for the period of the projects

sanctioned as mentioned above.

3. The selected candidate(s) shall not claim for regular appointment(s) at this Centre and

/or ICAR as their fellowships / contracts are co-terminus with respective Projects /

Schemes.

4. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.

5. Candidates appearing for interview should bring Original Documents along with their

Bio-data, Photograph (PP size) and other related documents in support of qualification,

experience, etc.

6. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

7. The decision of Director, NCIPM, would be final and binding on all aspects.

The National Centre for Integrated Pest Management is located about 8 km west of the New Delhi Railway Station, about 7 km west of Krishi Bhawan, which houses the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and about 22 km north-east of Indira Gandhi International Airport at Palam. The location stands at 28.080N and 77.120E, the height above mean sea level being 229 metres (750 feet).
