Madras High Court orders uniform school syllabus
Chennai: In a major setback for Tamil Nadu's AIADMK government, the Madras High Court on Friday stayed an amendment to the Tamil Nadu Uniform System of School Education Act that deferred the implementation of a uniform syllabus for school students.Disposing a batch of petitions, the court said the government can conduct detailed study of a common syllabus and textbooks.
