Eligibility:

        Candidates satisfying at least one of the following criteria may apply:

State/Central Board: Students qualifying in Class XII in 2010 or 2011 in Science Stream. The cut-off percentage for INSPIRE fellowship of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to be used for the boards for Class XII are given in http://www.inspire-dst.gov.in/Inspire-Advertisement.pdf with 5% relaxation for OBC (NC) and PD.F or SC/ST the cut-off is 60% for all boards.

The candidate must also qualify in the JointIISER Science Aptitude Test.

        IIT-JEE 2011: Students obtaining a minimum of 60% marks in Class XII and securing a ranking the regular merit list.

        KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana): Students qualified in SA (2009)/SX (2010)/SB (2010)/SP (Passed 10+2 in 2010/2011)
