NIMS invites applications for the following posts, from candidates, possessing qualifications and experience, as prescribed below:
1) Assistant Registrar (Reserved for ST –W) post-1
Qualification :
i) MBA from a University recognized by UGC.
ii) 2 years of experience as an Administrative officer or an equivalent post in administration, maintenance of stores, Academic and examinations matters and purchases in a corporate hospital, or University or Limited Company
OR
i) PG degree with first class from a University recognized by University Grants Commission.
ii) Two years experience as an Administrative Officer or an equivalent post in administration, maintenance of stores, Academic and examinations matters and purchases in a corporate hospital or University or Limited Company.
Age : 18 to 34 years as on 30-04-2011. 5 years relaxation in case of ST Candidates.
Pay Band : PB2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
2) Office Superintendent (reserved for ST-W) Post-1
Qualification :
i) Must hold a degree of any University recognized by UGC or Any other recognized equivalent qualification with first class.
ii) Must have experience as Senior Assistant for a period of Not less than three years either in administration/Accounts/ Academic and examinations matters in a University/ Educational Institutions/Medical/Engineering College.
Age : 18 to 34 years as on 30-04-2011. 5 years relaxation in case of ST Candidates.
Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
3) Staff Nurses 29 posts reserved for ST
Qualification : i) Must have passed B.Sc.-Nursing from a recognized University.
ii) Must have registered with A.P. Nursing Council.
OR
i) Must have passed
a) Intermediate Examination or an equivalent recognized qualification.
b) Must have passed General Nursing Course of 3 years duration and Midwifery training of 6 months duration from an Institution recognized by Nursing Council of India.
Pay Band Rs.9300-34800/-
Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
Age : 18 to 34 years as on 30-04-2011. 5 years relaxation in case of ST Candidates.
4) Dialysis Lab Technician Grade-II (reserved for ST-W) Post-1
Qualification :
i) B.Sc. with any science subject from a recognized University Or an equivalent recognized qualification
ii) One year Diploma in Dialysis Technician.
Age : 18 to 34 years as on 30-04-2011. 5 years relaxation in case of ST Candidates.
Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Application procedure: Apply with Bio-data, self attested copies of certificates from high school onwards, proof of age, two passport size photos, proof of residence and certificates of ST status.
Self addressed envelop: Candidates must enclose self addressed and stamped envelop cover (9X4).
Last Date : Last date for receipt of applications is 13-05-2011,5.00PM.
If required ,Written test for the eligible candidates will be conducted in the premises of NIMS. Date and time will be intimated.
Interview for the eligible candidates will be announced separately. No TA & DA will be paid for appearing for written test or for interview.
The Institute reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up and also to call only the selected candidates after making short listing from the candidates who have applied for any of posts for the purpose of the interview.

About NIMS
The Nizam's Charitable Trust in 1961 thought of starting a speciality Hospital for orthopaedic patients with an initial investment of Rs. 55 Lakhs. The foundation stone was laid on July 16, 1961 by Sri Morarji Desai, Minister for Finance, Government of India.
The Nizam's Orthopaedic Hospital was inaugurated by Sri S. K. Patil, Union Minister for Railways and was declared open by Her Highness, the Princess of Berar on December 22, 1964.
The Trust handed over the hospital to the Government of Andhra Pradesh on February 13, 1976. The hospital was renamed as Nizam's Institute of Orthopaedics and Specialities (NIOS). It was inaugurated by Sri Jalagam Vengala Rao, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on March 31, 1976.
