APPOINTMENT

XISS a premier Management Institute requires suitable person for the following post.

1) (a) Post : Assistant Professor

Area : Human Resource Management

Qualification : PhD in Management (Preferable)/MBA/PG Diploma in management with specialization in HR.

Desirable : The candidate must have a good command in Labour and Business Laws.

(b) Assistant Professor: Area Information Technology

Qualification: M. Tech in CSE/IT in the relevant field.

Ph.D in the relevant field will be preferred.

Desirable : The candidate should have command over subjects like ERP, e‐Commerce, Networking etc.

(c) Laboratory Instructor : Computer Science

Qualification : Graduate with Diploma in Computer Science/

Desirable : The candidate should have sufficient knowledge of Programming languages viz., C, C++, Java and also SQL and Computer Maintenance.

Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) is an educational institute in Ranchi, India. It was established as an extension department of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, in 1955 with the objective of training young men and women in Rural Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. In 1973 the institute was registered as a separate educational society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. In 1978, it moved to its present site. XISS was established with the mission to develop human resources for various sectors such as industries, business, rural development, health care etc in the Chota Nagpur region.
