Selection Procedure & Method of Selection:

Selection will be made on the basis of initial screening, and then qualifying in following examination. Candidates will have the option to write the paper in Hindi (Paper II only).

All tests will be held in Mumbai.

Written Test:

1) Attendant (A): 

Paper I: Objective type questions comprising General English, General Awareness & Basic Maths

(Duration : 1 ½ Hrs)

2) Upper Division Clerk:

Paper I: General English

(Duration : 03 Hrs)

Paper II: General Knowledge& Elementary Arithmetic

(Duration : 02 Hrs)

3) Steno. Grade – III

Paper I: General English

(Duration : 03 Hrs)

Paper II: General Knowledge & Elementary Arithmetic

(Duration : 02 Hrs)

Trade Test: Stenography Test (Computer)

Interview: Interview will be held for all the categories

The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India's primary nuclear research facility based in Mumbai. It has a number of nuclear reactors, all of which are used for India's nuclear power and research programme.

India and the NPT

India is not a part of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), citing concerns that it unfairly favours the established nuclear powers, and provides no provision for complete nuclear disarmament. Indian officials argued that India's refusal to sign the treaty stemmed from its fundamentally discriminatory character; the treaty places restrictions on the nonnuclear weapons states but does little to curb the modernization and expansion of the nuclear arsenals of the nuclear weapons states.
