Experience :  Three years’ experience in Marine Fisheries of which one year must be practical experience in Sea Fishing.  Duties :  Participation in fishing cruises and responsible for cruise leadership and collection of requisite data during survey cruises.  Preparation of cruise reports and other reports related to operation of the  survey vessels.  Identification of fish and conducting the biological investigations for qualitative and quantitative assessment of fish stock in time and space.

(Vacancy No. 11030603226) Four Scientists SB(Electrical) in the National Test House, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.  Out  of four posts, one post each is reserved for ST & OBC candidates.  Qualifications :  Essential :  A. Educational :  Master’s Degree in Physics(Pure / Applied) / Computer Science or degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science and Technology / Telecommunication / Radio Physics of a recognized University or equivalent.  B. About Staff Selection Commission

As the name indicates Staff Selection is the commission for the requirements of gazetted posts in various government services. The head quarter of the Staff Selection Commission is located at the New Delhi. Staff Selection Commission has the very simple structure for the recruitment purpose. The commission is headed by the chair person; the chair person is assisted by the secretary and two members. For the better operating, staff commission has the various regional offices which do the recruitments in their concern regions. Currently commission has the seven regional offices that are located in main cities of India. The cities are Mumbai, Allahabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bangalore and Chennai. In the commission structure each regional office is headed or controlled by regional director and this all regional directors are in direct contact with the Chairman of the commission.

As mentioned the main function of the commission is to do requirements for the various government posts. Generally commission carried out the requirements for the all Group B posts of the central government and different state governments. It also recruit for the Group C posts and subordinates officers. All the recruitments are done on the bases of the examination. For the different posts examinations are also different. Basically exams are written or interview type. The examinations are held in the concern regions for the convenience of candidates. Eligibility for the every post is different which is mentioned on the website of the Staff Selection Commission. The pay scale is also varying from post to post. For the group B the pay scale is Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800.

Staff Selection Commission also performs various functions by the orders of Central Governments.

NABL is a signatory to Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) since 2000. Strong managerial & technical skills, leadership qualities, good communication skills and computer proficiency is desired.  

AGE: Not exceeding 33 years

ACCREDITATION OFFICERS GRADE II (for Accreditation of Medical Testing Laboratories)

The right candidate would be Master’s Degree in any branch of Medical Science from recognized university with minimum 10 years experience in reputed laboratory / laboratory based research / Quality Assurance in Hospital/Industries out of which 4 years experience in laboratory accreditation related activities. 

Or 

Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from recognized university with minimum 8 years experience in reputed laboratory / laboratory based research / Quality Assurance in Hospital. A Master’s Degree in pathology will be desirable. 

Strong managerial & technical skills, leadership qualities, good communication skills and computer proficiency is desired.  

AGE: Not exceeding 38 years
