General Information and Instructions :
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfill the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in this advertisement as well as on the website of EESL (www.eesl.co.in). All qualifications should be of full time regular courses from a recognized College/ Institute. Candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process if any information provided by him/ her is found to be false/ incorrect and if any mis-statement/discrepancy in the particulars furnished by him/her are detected after appointment his/her service is liable to be terminated without any notice. Candidate should ensure that self attested photocopies of educational qualification, experience and Reserved Category Certificate (wherever applicable) are attached. Candidate will have to produce the originals of the certificates at the time of interview. Candidates employed with Government Departments/PSUs have to apply through proper channel and should produce the NOC (No objection Certificate.) at the time of interview. About Us
The overall size of energy efficiency market is estimated to be Rs. 74,000 crores. Till now, only 5% of this market has been tapped through ESCO mode mainly in the areas of lighting and some industrial applications and the large-scale implementation of energy efficiency is constrained by a number of important regulatory, institutional and financing barriers. The concept of performance contracting implemented by Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) is being increasingly considered as a mechanism to overcome some of the barriers hindering and discouraging the large-scale implementation of energy efficiency projects. However, despite the fact that the potential for application of performance contracting in both the public and private sectors in developing nations is enormous, the growth of the ESCO industry has been particularly slow in the country.
