UPTU SEE (Uttar Pradesh Technical University State Entrance Examination)Uttar Pradesh Technical University is now known as Gautam Buddh Technical University. Uttar Pradesh Technical University State Entrance Examination is conducted for the admissions of technical courses like Management, Engineering, Computer Applications, architecture, Hotel Management etc. in Uttar Pradesh for the collages who are affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. For different programme different entrance exams are there. UPTU is one of the largest University in India and was established by Uttar Pradesh Government in 2000. The University located at Lucknow. Today more than 1, 50, 000 students are pursuing different courses in University and Faculty of University is known for excellent teaching.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have pursued class 12th examination in 10+2 teaching scheme from any recognized University from India to appear for entrance exam with Physics and Mathematics and any one of the subject from Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science or Biology with minimum of 50% marks. Reserved category (SC/ST) student have to get at least 45% marks to appear. At the time of admission the age of the applicant candidate is should be between 17 years to 25 years. Except this age group no other age is eligible for the entrance exam.
Selection procedure:
The candidate who wants admission in University has to give entrance exam. And on the base of entrance exam score desire candidates get the admission. The admission procedure strictly follows as per the rules of University and University has all the wrights regarding the process.
Pattern of Examination:
Entrance exam have the two sections for the admission in technical courses.
Section One: It includes two subjects Physics and Chemistry, Each subject has 75 questions and time for section one is 150 Minutes.
Section Two: Section two includes Mathematics. Time will be given is 90 Minutes and it has 90 questions. No negative marking is there for any section.
