NIMCET Notification MCA Entrance Exam
NIMCET
NIMCET is the entrance exam organized by the National Institute of Technology to give admissions to 1st year of MCA courses. Students from across India come out to NIMCET for getting the admissions in MCA course. NIMCET is among toughest national entrance test organized by NITs to get admissions in the MCA program. Admissions of applicants of MCA programs offered by all NITs are relied on rank attained in the NIMCET.
Popularity of the exam
Lots of students apply for the NIMCET to find admissions in MCA (Master of Computer Application) course each year so having admissions in the NITs is very hard. Students from the entire country are exhibiting higher notice towards the NITs.
Application Availability
NIMCET form of entrance test will be dispersed from 3rd week of March. Students may collect application form from different NITs centers otherwise may online fill application form.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have minimum 60% in total or 6.5/10 CGPA with 12th and Graduation. For the SC/ST candidates they need to have minimum 55% in total of the 6/10 CGPA. Candidates need to have studied Statistics, Business Maths or Maths in the Graduation and 12th.
How to apply
Candidates are necessary to fill in the online form. After filling form they need to take print out and mail it with photocopies of particular documents plus the demand draft. The URL where candidate may apply for exam will be accessible after releasing the notification.
Examination Pattern
Duration of the exam is 2 hours with 120 multiple questions having four choices to each question. Every correct answer will give 4 marks and every wrong answer will take 1 negative mark.
Questions will be dispersed as follows:
Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning 55 questions
Computer awareness 10 questions
General English 15 questions
Mathematics 40 questions
