BIT Mesra MCA Entrance Test

Eligibility criteria
For applying for the MCA course of BIT the candidate need to at least one of all these degrees at the graduation: B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA, / B.Sc.(Information Technology / Electronics), or B.A/ B.Sc. with Statistics or Mathematics. Candidate having B.A. / B.Sc. Honors needs to have minimum of 60% in the honors subject. For all the other degrees the candidate need to have minimum 60% in total in all the subjects. Final year candidates may also apply.
Application forms Availability
Application form will be directly available from the BIT, Mesra as well as its extension centres. Application form may also be acquired by sending form request to the BIT, Mesra and any of extension centres. Candidates may also apply online via BIT website wherever then may fill up the details in online form and mail its printout to the BIT Office at Ranchi with the required demand draft.
Examination Pattern
Usually there is an online test having 2 hours duration consisting 120 multiple option questions. For each correct answer the candidate gets 4 marks. 1 mark is deducted in case of an incorrect answer. Questions are usually asked from following sections:
Mathematics 70 questions
Logical Reasoning and Analytical ability 30 questions
Computer Awareness 20 questions
