Thapar University MCA Entrance Test 

Thapar University organizes admission process to give admissions to the MCA (Master in Computer Applications) Program. Thapar University was recognized in the year 1956 as the TIET (Thapar Institute of Technology) and therefore it is amongst the oldest technical institutions of India. It got the status of the Deemed University in the year 1985 through UGC (University Grants Commission). It is measured to be amongst the best Indian engineering colleges. Eligibility criteria: 

The applicant needs to have bachelor’s degree having Maths in 10+2 or in Graduation. Those appearing in final year graduation may also apply. No specific age limit is given to apply for the MCA.

Availability of Forms: 

Application forms will be obtainable directly from University Counter. The form may also be received through post from Thapar University just by sending the Demand Draft with form request letter. Candidates may also download otherwise apply online via the university website. The application from may also be supposed via post. 

Entrance Test Pattern : 

Entrance Test will have 3 hours time duration with having 200 questions (multiple-choice) divided as under:

Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Communication Skills: 60 Questions

Computer Awareness: 60 questions

Mathematics: 80 questions

Four options will be available for every question. Candidates will receive one mark for each right answer. One-fourth marks are deducted for every wrong answer.
