CCSAT i.e. Cochin University of Science And Technology, was established in 1971. It is located in Kochi, Kerala, India. This is an autonomous and government undertaking university. The university was originally known as University of Cochin. But in 1986 it was renamed as Cochin University of Science And Technology. The university consists of three very popular campuses, two in the city of state, Kochi and the third one in Kuttanad. Nearly about 2000 students take admission for post graduate and under graduate study per year in the CUSAT.
CUSAT offers various courses as follow:

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
The eligibility criteria are deferent for different courses as follow.
FOR MBA (PART TIME): The candidate must have the bachelor degree exam with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
FOR MBE: The candidate must have passed engineering, technology, agriculture, or medicine bachelor degree exam with minimum 55% marks.
FOR MIB: The requirement for MIB is same as for MBA (part time) i.e. bachelor degree with 50% marks or more. FOR MTTM: The candidate who wishes to take admission for MTTM must have any bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
For taking admission in the CUSAT, the candidate is required to pass the Common Admission Test that is also called as All India Entrance Examination. This test is taken by CUSAT. On the base of CAT marks, a merit list will be prepared. And after that the candidate will be called for group discussion or personal interview. The CAT exam is only responsible for admission in CUSAT except the Ph.D. M. Phil. M. Tech. and certificate course.
EXAMINATION PATTERN:
Common Admission Test exam paper contains various quantitative types of questions. This includes mathematics questions like geometry, algebra, arithmetic questions, simple English questions, data interruption general knowledge, historic questions.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The students from SC / ST required minimum 45% marks for eligible in CUSAT CAT exams. And 50% marks for OBC student.
