COMED-K UGET Entrance Examination

The entrance test for under graduate dental, medical and engineering is supervised by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The score obtained by test and ranking will be followed by signal window system (centralized counseling).The COMDEK entrance test is conducted for whom seeking for admission for under graduate course. The test is conducted in Karnataka state in following test centers – Bangalore, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bellary , Davangere, Shimoga, Gulbarga, Mangalore, Mysore, Tumkur, Bijapur and Udupi. The details about entrance test are available on website. The COMDEK UGET score is only valid for that academic year.

For MBBS and BDS Criteria:

candidate should passed his or her second PUC or 12th higher secondary studies by central or state government with 50 per cent marks taken in PCB group (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)with English compulsory subject com. SC, St and  OBC candidates who domiciled candidates of Karnataka qualifying  for examination passed his or her second PUC  or 12th higher secondary studies by central or state government with 40 per cent marks taken in PCB group with English compulsory subject

For BE 

Candidate minimum qualification is passed  his or her second PUC or 12th higher secondary studies by central or state government with minimum 45 per cent marks taken in PCM group and SC, ST and OBC candidates aggregate marks with 40 per cent  are qualified for examination.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview, Group Discussion and obtained marks in test

Examination pattern:

The duration of test is 120 minutes on physics and chemistry compulsory for MBBS and BE courses Biology is Compulsory for MBBS student and Mathematics for B.E student.
